  • 29 September 2017: 2010 Bodegas Luis Cañas Rioja Gran Reserva - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by Lou1969. a rioja gran reserva somewhere between traditional and modern stile but nevertheless a good wine with a lot of fruit, good nose, good structure, for me a lttle bit too modern and of course now still too young. Will be better in a few years. (92 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 29 September 2017: 2014 The Silver Route Vino de la Tierra de Extremadura - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by jobe.rodgers. - Garnet color with fast forming legs and aromas of ethanol and blackberry. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of blackberry, cherry and licorice anise with a full body. Linear texture with a long finish - Needs decanting. Definitely wish I had another bottle. (87 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 29 September 2017: 2012 Ferrer Bobet Priorat Seleccio Especial - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by ungerto. (88 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 29 September 2017: 2010 La Rioja Alta Rioja The Wine Society's Exhibition Rioja Reserva - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by pmgsmith. Vina Arana in all but label. Wonderful stuff. Everything you would hope for and expect with this wine. Very nice drinking now but no rush, as this will keep 5-10, and will be all the better for it. Drinking old school Rioja like this at different stages of evolution is a joy. (90 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 29 September 2017: 2012 Finca Villacreces Ribera del Duero - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by wdlohr. Dark deep color with plush velvet aromas, soft structured and full finish. Excellent. (91 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 29 September 2017: 2015 Suertes del Marqués Valle de la Orotava la solana - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by andregs. needs some time in the glass, still some sketchy smell to it. Spicy, more black and reclined fruityness, a good grip with a nice tongue tickling length. Distinct and still enjoyable. Better in a year or so i would guess (90 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 29 September 2017: 2012 Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
    Tasted by J. Valk. (90 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 29 September 2017: 2013 Martinez Bujanda La Mancha Finca Antigua Crianza - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by Pinot Hunter3. Nose of wet gravel and vanilla cloaking blackcurrant with hints of licquorice, red meat and dried herbs. I also found that for me, it had an overwhelming aroma of burnt rice pudding. Weird! Palate showed juicy plum, blueberry with some red fruit. All was followed by sweet vanilla and herbs. A lovely merlot. Good weight and structure. Holds itself well from most angles, tannins will soften more over the next couple of years. Drink now- 2020 (86 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 29 September 2017: 2012 Dinastía Vivanco Rioja Crianza Selección de Familia - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by ThalesGaspar. Same as previous bottle, good quality or the price. (87 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 29 September 2017: 2011 Bodegas Arrocal Ribera del Duero Passion - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by Amateur62. PnP though it would profit from a long decant. Still too young, on the nose nice, typical Tempranillo notes, on the palate quite tart but with good concentration and freshness, medium finish. Better leave it another two years or more in the cellar, 89-91. (90 pts.) - Tasted 9/29/2017.
  • 28 September 2017: 2010 Genium Celler Priorat - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by ddgd. Oddly experienced large quantity of sediment. Aside from that this is a very smooth wine and crowd pleaser. Hoping remaining bottles are in better shape. (88 pts.) - Tasted 9/28/2017.
  • 28 September 2017: 2016 Rompesedas Toro Grace's Harvest - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by GimpyBoy. The wine from this region is amazing, and this wine is no exception, It is smooth and silky with a nose of deep red fruits. Slight tightness at the end which will likely dissipate with a bit more time. (92 pts.) - Tasted 9/28/2017.
  • 28 September 2017: 2015 Pago de Valdoneje Bierzo Vinos Valtuille - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)

  • 28 September 2017: 2012 Gregory Perez Bierzo Brezo Dona Blanca Mengoba - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by vindictive. I really enjoyed this wine. It has mineral, lime and lychee notes with excellent and enduring acidity. Very nice over several hours. Should last, but excellent now with late summer / autumn fare. will look out for this producer - Tasted 9/28/2017.

Tasted by Mentat. In great harmony now, tannin/acidity/fruit all fully integrated. Nose of minerals and black fruit, mid-palate not massive but definitely classic/elegant. Mid length finish. (93 pts.) - Tasted 9/28/2017.
  • 28 September 2017: 1994 Bodegas Muga Rioja Torre Muga - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by Lipsman. Thin, sour-tart, grapey. Well past its time. Unpleasant. (84 pts.) - Tasted 9/28/2017.
  • 28 September 2017: 2006 Condado de Haza Ribera del Duero Crianza - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by winot. Wow, this has definitely hit its stride, really blossomed over the past few years. Medium deep dark cherry red; gorgeous, deep cherry nose, nicely framed by oak - but it is more than the sum of its parts, it really works as a whole - just plain delicious. Everyone at the table were all " Wow, that's really yummy!" Had w paella (92 pts.) - Tasted 9/28/2017.
  • 28 September 2017: 2009 Bodegas Pintia Toro Pintia - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)

  • 28 September 2017: 2014 Bodegas El Nido Jumilla Clio - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by AAJR. PnP'd at at a local BYOB restaurant. Dark in the glass, big wine with flavors of dark berries. Prominent tannins that should resolve over time & help increase rating several points. Suggest revisting in 2019 -2020. (91 pts.) - Tasted 9/28/2017.
  • 28 September 2017: 2003 Bodegas y Viñedos Alión Ribera del Duero - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by Xavier Auerbach. Tasted blind. Lively, light, airy, elegant, firm but ripe tannins, very fresh for its vintage and age, light structure, flavoursome, originally chewy tannins are beautifully resolved, good length. A lovely wine. (92 pts.) - Tasted 9/28/2017.
  • 28 September 2017: 2004 Resalte Ribera del Duero Reserva - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by ddingley. Lovely mature wine. Sort of a salted beef with blue/black fruit combo in a silky texture that I found extremely enjoyable. (92 pts.) - Tasted 9/28/2017.
  • 28 September 2017: 2015 Bodegas Borsao Garnacha Campo de Borja Tres Picos - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)

  • 28 September 2017: 2016 Hijos de Alberto Gutierrez Rueda Perla Maris - CellarTracker Tasting Notes (all notes)
Tasted by cuffthis. Consistent with previous bottles. Medium straw in color, this wine shows mango, apricot and minerals on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with brisk acidity, noticeable cut grass and and subtle white flower undertones. The finish is well balanced with the fruit and acidity coming together seamlessly. 12.5% abv. Purchased for $10US, this is an awesome qpr that clearly shows its place of origin. I'm glad I bought a whole case of this. Imported by Fruit of the Vines, Inc., Long Island City, NY. (89 pts.) - Tasted 9/28/2017.
